101 Things about me.....

I stole this idea from a friend's blog a while back. It has taken a LONG time to make it. I've gotta tell you...its kind of exhausting trying to think of that many things you dare share with everyone about yourself!!

Well, I decided to finally post it in honor of my 25th birthday. We "celebrated" it in Island Park 2 weeks ago. (I will post those pictures soon.) Read what you wish...I understand that it can be a mouthful. Hope you find something interesting you never knew about me...ENJOY!

1. 2 Nicknames I got from my past hair do’s are: Bush wack & Joe Dirt.
2. I picked Lathan out of a year book!-That’s how we met, My friends and I were looking for some cute guys to hang out with one night…Ones that we didn’t normally hang out with. And I chose Lathan, and told him to bring along some other cute buddies.)
3. I have only ever read 2 books from front to cover. Shiloh & Little Women.
4. I pay my little sister to tickle me.
5. I love to just go for rides that have no intended destination.
6. I love to go walk around houses contractors are building that are not completely finished to scope out the floor plans.
7. I have a led foot. (“I am faster than fast. I am lightening McQueen.”)
8. I was potty trained before I was 2 years old.-I didn’t want to get my new pink little silky panties wet!
9. I was on a public TV station when I was 5 years old. Ha, and I randomly told everyone on TV that my parents van got taken away because the bank said we couldn’t have it anymore.-Long story, but really all we had done was test drive it. And I made it sound like it was repossessed. Can you imagine the embarrassment my parents felt?
10. The 3 most relaxing places on earth for me are: Island Park, My grandparent’s houses, & our Parents Houses.
11. My all time favorite TV Shows are: I love Lucy, Home Improvement, and Friends. And close runner ups are: King of Queens, Everybody loves Raymond, According to Jim & Yes Dear. I now DVR everything (It is the best!) My favorites: Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, The Bachelorette, One Tree Hill, Tori & Dean, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Kourtney & Khloe take Miami, The Bill Engvall Show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, Kendra.
12. I have cooked my very own Thanksgiving all by myself! (For 11 people.)
13. I am completely illiterate when it comes to politics, history, & geography!
14. By the time I was 4 I had flown on an air plane 14 times.
15. The first time I cried when I was pregnant was: When I randomly heard my Mom’s voice on the radio for her Flower Shop Ad.
16. I made the moves on Lathan first. (I kissed him!!)
17. If I could ever own my own business I would kill to be a big time Wedding Planner. (And my mom as the florist!!)
18. I really appreciate hand made wood working. (furniture)
19. I absolutely can not drive a stick shift.
20. 3 of my Adult Teeth never grew in!
21. My biggest fear is the loss of some one I love.
22. My favorite candle scents are vanilla or sugar cookie.
23. I have dimples when I smile. (My Dad always used to say that I got them from him…he didn’t have any!)
24. The states that I grew up in were: Texas, Alabama, Utah, Maryland & Massachusetts. (& Summers in California)
25. I bite my nails.

26. I am a crier.
27. Between my brothers/sisters & step family, I have 9 siblings.
28. I love to rent movies!
29. If I am shopping for me some clothes & there is a line at the mall or clothing store, I will stand in there just long enough to talk myself out of the purchase. (Great savings plan, awful wardrobe!)
30. I aspire to be as good of a cook as my mother!
31. I love to Grill. (Or for my husband to grill for me.)
32. I LOVE fireworks!
33. I didn’t get my license until I was 17!
34. I like to go camping & 4-wheeling!
35. I LOVE to constantly calculate numbers for all kinds of different reasons.
36. My mother and I look alike.
37. Cooper was supposed to be a twin, and so was I when my mom was pregnant with me!
38. When I was a baby my 2 older brothers would sing to me “Good morning Miss America” when I would wake up.
39. I used to hate OLD OLD timer country music until Lathan came along. Now it’s right up there with my favorites.
40. I have become a “truck pulls wife”. Crap! I caught myself having to explain all of the details of the truck pulls to the other wives.
41. My favorite season is fall.
42. Both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer the same summer.-2000 (Mom had breast cancer & Dad had colon cancer.)
43. I fall asleep in the car if we are in it longer than an hour.
44. I wanted to be a pediatrician when I grew up.
45. I dream of owning a log home one day.
46. Jobs that I think would be fun for me to have in “my other life” would include: Knowing how to professionally take pictures, Style hair & Do nails, be a real estate agent, News or Weather forecaster, Elementary School Teacher, Cake Designer (Like on wedding Central/Ace of Cakes & Amazing Wedding Cakes).
47. 7 years ago I swear I had a “phenomenon” happen to me when I was home alone in the front room one day. (The older lady next door Mrs. Andreasen swears by it too!)
48. I was married in a saloon and our reception was in a barn.
49. My favorite toys when I was a child were: a doll house my Dad made for me, a rainbow bright bicycle, a pink skip it, cabbage patch dolls, a box full of “teacher” supplies, & trolls.

50. Until about 2 years ago, I used to eat salads with out the lettuce. Ha ha! (When I was little we called it bird salad.)
51. I met Lathan when I was 15, and he took me on my “first official” date. We went to a Tim McGraw & Faith Hill concert. He brought me the most gorgeous vase of pink roses!
52. My childhood best friend from Maryland was my maid of honor. (Lindsey McGlothlin)
53. I love ALL kinds of home decorations, but I decorate my home the way my husband feels most comfortable.
54. When I got older those same brothers would sing the witch toone “na NAh na NA na NAh na nA Nah na NAh na” as I would ride past them on my bicycle.
55. When I was in kindergarten, my mom would put my hair in (2) piggy tails & my brother Clayton would use them as horse reins and steer me around the school and “Ya Ya” me all the way home!!
56. I played softball for 5 years when I was younger.
57. I hate to wear socks!
58. I have a favorite blankee.
59. I got lost in a Wal Mart when I was 9. Ha ha.
60. I want to have a big family.
61. I LOVE to play card & board games. I get so competitive, Sore looser!
62. I sluffed all the time in High School.
63. I don’t like straight chocolate.
64. I talk through movies. I am always asking Lathan “Why did they do that?”, “What just happened?”, “What did they just say?”, “Why did they just do that?”
65. When I was younger I wished on every birthday candle, wishing well and shooting star for a little sister! And I got one finally, Lacy!
66. I have to drink milk with every dinner!
67. I am an extreme worry wart. I over analyze situations!
68. I always have to wear Lathan’s shirts to bed for my pajamas.
69. Lathan asked me to my Junior Prom by filling my ENTIRE room chuck full of pink balloons with little pieces of paper inside every single one of them. I had to find the 1 balloon that had the message in it. It said: “It would tickle me pink if you would go to prom with me.”
70. I have the all time worst memory! (I must take after my Grandma Allen ha ha)
71. When I played pretend, I played: Waitress, School, Sacrament & Primary Chorister, Hair dresser, McDonald’s Drive Thru Order Taker, Grocery Store Cashier, & Mommy.
72. I am SOO afraid of heights!
73. My dream vacation spots are Australia, Alaska, Spain, Some exotic beach "get-a-way", and my newest spot would be to go on a train ride through Canada. (Like on the Bachelorette.) I also can't wait to visit Maryland with my Mom and show Lathan all of the places I grew up.
74. My favorite cars are luxury SUV’s & the newest body styles of the Mazda 6 & Toyota Camry & the newest Camaro!
75. I am a hopeless romantic!

76. My all time favorite movie is Steel Magnolias.
77. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to adopt a baby.
78. I have been to the beach a handful of times but never swam in it!
79. It takes me months and months of tanning regularly to get even the slightest tan.
80. I have never had a broken bone or stitches.
81. My one and only surgery that I have ever had was my C-Section having Cooper!
82. My husband passed out while I was in the surgery room! (Thanks Hun!)
83. I have a hard time being close to “girl” friends. I only have a handful of them. (Was burned to many times.)
84. My favorite things in nature are: Creeks, Wild Flowers, Fall Leaves, Lady Bugs, Caterpillars, Lightening Bugs, Moose, Elk, The sounds of crickets, & the smell of Pine Trees.
85. I love to wear jewelry. (Diamonds are GREAT, but I am talking even just the cheap stuff.)
86. I have worked 4 jobs my whole life. My very first job was making pizza’s at-Piccadilly Pizza.
87. I went to college USU extension for a total of 1-2 months. I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. (What a great teacher, can’t even finish a semester!)
88. My youngest brother is on a mission in North Carolina.
89. We have an English bulldog named Max. (He is almost 2 years old.), A rottweiler named Bandit. And an orange cat named Kitty. J Ha, I think his REAL name might be Baxter…but he has never ever been called that.
90. I am addicted to anything Christmas! Especially the Christmas decorations!
91. I “collect” all kinds of greeting cards. (I say “collect” because I most often have a purpose for purchasing them, they just never get sent!) But seriously, I could spend hours in the card isles reading them! Can’t resist the cute glittery ones!
92. Make anything “miniature” and I am a sucker for it. (Miniature candy’s, drinks ect…) Not because I am watching my calories, Just because they look cuter!
93. I LOVE to buy tissue paper, gift bags, and wrapping paper! I think they can be so cute!

94. I am the WORST LIAR ever. I just can’t do it! I usually end up giving it away in the expression of my face, or I give in and just tell you after I “try” to lie because I have a huge conscious.
95. I have suit cases full of scrap booking supplies that have never been opened or used. But I claim that scrap booking is a hobby of mine. (I think that I have a total of 20 pages ever completed in my lifetime.)
96. I was working 2 jobs and had paid for my first car in full before I had my license!
97. I used to HATE snowmobiling with a PASSION until about a year ago.
98. I love to go shopping for home decorations.
99. I used to HATE the thought of having an “inside” animal.
100. I order Onion rings and I HATE onions!! I order them to eat the batter off of the onions.
101. My newest hobby/love is spending time in my flower garden/beds.
