Last week my little sister Lacy & I took Cooper to the Brigham Pool for his first swimming experience. I figured he was going to love swimming but not this much! He was so brave for a 15 month old. I bought a floater for him to sit in and swim around with me...and he didn't want anything to do with it. He wanted to walk around until the water was deep enough to touch his face, which even then I had to turn him back around. :) He went down the water slide 20+ times all by himself (well, with me waiting at the bottom of course), and he liked going and splashing under neath the "mushroom" shaped waterfall. He really must have thought that it was one giant tub with lots of friends to splash around in it with.

Cooper loved dunking his face under the water on purpose! I loved how tough he was, becuase even if there was a time that he slipped and fell under the water...he never cried once!!I think I will start swimming lessons with him next year!!
I loved this picture of his gut. :)I was so happy to find out that with tons of sun screen our fair skinned, red headed little Coop didnt get sun burned at all!!
Me on the other hand...burned my back leaning over walking around with him in the shallow end! Ha!!
