Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!
This 4th of July we went and bought a package of fire works to light at home so that we wouldn't be gone out so late for Lathan to get up the next morning. I was really interested in seeing what Cooper's reaction would be to the new sounds and experiences...Well not to worry, because he loved just about every minute of it! (Almost a little alarming...I hope that when he gets a little bit older he isn't wanting to light things on fire and blow things up!) Here are a few pictures of our firework show & observers:

Here he is clapping away after one was lit.

Max is such a little poser.
One of the pictures I didn't post was of Max trying to protect us by barking and getting as close as he dared to the fire works when they would go off. What a silly bully!

This is the only fire work that he didn't enjoy...it whistled really loud right before a bunch of pops. But once we got his attention and showed him we were clapping for it, he decided to pull out of it and enjoy it again.

I thought that Cooper would want to play with the Sparklers that I had bought especially for him, but he wasn't too sure about the smoke and fire being right there by his face.
The other fireworks that I bought for him were the little "snaps" fireworks that you throw and they make popping noises. Lathan laid a bunch out on the ground and tried teaching him to stomp on them to get them to pop. It was funny watching him try to dance & stomp over them...because he wasn't heavy enough to get them to pop.

Your curbing looks awesome! You should have snuck in some pictures of the trees. Can't wait to see it all done!
As for Coopers love of fireworks...you do realize he's related to Lathan, right? There's bound to be fire and explosions in his teenage years!
