Still Water Camping Trip

This past weekend we went camping with my Dad's side of the family and had a great time! Still Water is a very pretty place to go camping. It is in the Uintas; about 30 miles past Evanston, WY and wraps back into Utah.

This was the lake that Lathan went fishing at just a little ways away from camp. Isn't it beautiful?

While we were camping I decided I am a sissy when it comes to the weather. Because the only pit fall to camping this weekend was that it was cold and rained. (I was very thankful for the heater in my trailer. :) ) But all of the great food and time with the family was worth anything! I wish we could have had a few more days there together with everyone.


Cooper definitely is a handful all of the time with what stage he is in. But when it comes to camping there isn't much time to sit down because he is constantly running around interested in EVERYTHING including the fire...and again of course eating the dirt, rocks and sticks! SHEESH! Here is the little rascal playing on one of the toys my cousin Nicole brought. (This was about the ONLY time he was sitting still for longer than a minute.)


Here is Cooper playing with a bunch of our cousins. Saturday it rained on and off and one of the times we had the kids come in our trailer to watch a movie together and play games and with Cooper's toys. I love that their are so many younger cousins to play with him and entertain me.

Here is Lathan & My Uncle Kraig after they got back from their fishing trip. Everyone together caught over 30 fish and had to start releasing the ones they were catching. The cutest thing was that my cousins little girl Hallie (3yrs old) was the first one to catch a fish with her pink Barbie fishing pole!

Here is Lathan filleting his first fish ever, thanks to the lesson he just got from Uncle Kraig.

Here is me & my Grandma Anderson. I asked her to show me a thing or two about how to cook the fish. The fish tasted GREAT!

Here is Cooper playing in Max's house that we brought. Cooper must think he is a puppy! He is obsessed with crawling in the house our getting down on his hands and knees and playing in the dang dog food bowls!

KrAzY hAt DaY:

This is my Aunt Vickie. She is the Grand Marshall of having fun on this side of my family. She is so creative, always coming up with different activities and games to play. And it doesnt matter what age you are, we all join in on the fun! While we were out camping we had a "Krazy Hat Day" where we all chose a different hat to decorate to be judged for a winner. The hats ranged from sun hats to sombraros to ball caps & even shower caps! Lathan was really excited about getting a sombraro to decorate. Here are some of the "KrAzY" pictures:
