This is my little brother Jordy. He is currently serving an LDS mission in North Carolina (close to the Virginia border). This past Thursday was his year mark for being gone. One more year to go! In one of Jordan's latest letters he wrote: "I am a part of such an important great work & I don't wanna come home, ever! Sorry!" We all miss him, (ESPECIALLY Mom) but it is so comforting knowing that he is happy and WANTS to be on his mission teaching others the gospel.
Here is a picture of a couple that he baptized:

Not only was it Jordan's 1 year mark this past week, but it was also his 21st birthday! Jordy has such a strong testimony, I got to talk to him on Mother's Day and you could just 'hear' his smile through the phone & how happy he truely is.
*I have to steal the letters from my mom because she is the only person that gets more than just a line or two! :) . Anyways, Jordan LOVES ties!! I think he has hundreds it seems. So I had to add this other part from of one of his letters becuase it made me laugh:
"Oh! Today we went to the Salvation Army! They had 3 beautiful ties for a dollar. Christmas came early this year! I had been wishing I could find a tie like the one I found for such a long time. White and green polyester beauty, mint condition!"
Oh my! What a funny boy!
