We celebrated Grandma & Grandpa Allen's 60th Wedding Anniversary at the Nursing Home, with all of our their friends and family. It made Grandpa so happy to see everyone, and it made Grandma so happy just to be sitting next to Grandpa and holding his hand.
I think that there is a lot to be said now-a-days for a couple to be married for 60 years! We have a lot of good examples in our life of great marriages and strong family ties.
I am so happy to be married to Lathan, we have been married for almost 6 years...Just a small fraction of what Grandma & Grandpa have been married for. But I wouldn't want to spend the next 54+ with anyone else!

That's really neat they have been married for 60 YEARS! My grandparents just celebrated the big 50. Sometimes I tell Jason I don't think I can stand him that long and he'll say, "Tough shit woman, you got me for ETERNITY." lol I wouldn't change it for anything in the world either, but sometimes... haha just kiddin.
