Family Night at Grandma Allen's
Tonight I asked the fam how long we had been holding family night together. You would never believe it, but we have gotten this crew together every Monday night since Fall of 1997! 11+ Years!! What a great tradition! The group may vary in size from week to week with the hustle and bustle of every day life & grows from year to year with additions to each little family. But it still is something we all always come back to as often as we can to share some quality time with one another. Tonight's turn out: 23 & 1/2-(Justin & Jill are expecting!)
I am so grateful to these two wonderful people. With out their teachings and examples, who knows where each of these families would be?
Each week we hold a lesson or an activity and rotate between whose home we meet at. We meet anywhere's from Fielding to Perry. We sing an opening and closing song & say an opening & closing prayer. This week's prayer was the BEST! Our little Livie (3yrs old) said the opening prayer. I am so glad I was able to witness the things that she prayed for. Its one of those that is so cute you can't help but peek at others in the room and smile about it. Here are a few things little Livie prayed for:
- That the windows would be closed so that the dragons & butterflies could not fly in.
- That the Grandma's would eat all of their dinner so they could feel full.
- That the babies would drink their bottles so they would be happy and not cry.
- Bless the WHOLE world!
- Bless that everyone could pray like her.
- That we KNOW that heavenly father sees us.
- & That she loves her whole family!
What a sweet girl!
Livie is one of the many cute girls in this picture. (She is the one wearing yellow stripes.)

This week we held Family Night at Grandma Allen's. She is now in the Tremonton Nursing Home. She just moved in this past Friday. We thought that it would be neat to be there and still share Family Night with her.
Here is a few pics of the Family night crew:

I'm thankful to you Chelsie for posting this! I really miss being so far away from our extended family and posts like this make me feel a little closer:)
Thanks!
Oh Chelsie what a great cousin you are! You are so on the ball you posted about my cute little liv before her dorky mother could! Thank you! You did a great post about FHE and the family and especially the infamous prayer!! I will put a link on mine, for everyone to read this post on your blog, then I don't have to do the very same one! love ya- ally
What a fun night. That little prayer is so sweet. A few nights ago Trev finally broke out of the prayer we feed him and said, "Grateful Choo-Choos." You can see where his priorities are!
Cooper is just too cute. I think he needs to come visit me!
Chelsie! How cool of you to post FHE pictures and the memorable Livie prayer! I love it! Can I copy the Kate, Cooper, & Bergin picture to put on my page? You are great!
