Our little Cooper turned 2 years old last month! I can't believe how fast time goes by. Cooper is quite the little man! He is brave, adventurous, curious & a dare devil but still somehow very charming, funny & adorable! Our lives just wouldn't be the same with out this little fire ball running around and filling our house with love.
Some things to know about Cooper:
~He loves to go for rides on everything! (Tractors, 4-wheelers, trucks, lawn mowers)
~His favorite toys are trucks, trains, "Cars", tools, and anything that he can play on outside!
~He is a movie/cartoon fanatic! He loves the movie Cars, Toy Story & just about anything on the Disney channel. (Especially "Pooh")
~He loves to be anywhere doing anything with his Daddy. He is definitely a huge fan of Lathan, and wants to be just like him.
~Cooper loves to eat grapes, pickles, cheese, club stick crackers, PB & J sandwiches, the toppings off of our pizzas, apple sauce, anything you will let him dip, apple juice, pancakes & sausage, and of course anything that is sweet!
~He is still in love with his blankets. Especially the silky/satiny ones.
~He loves to be in the tub. Only now, he enjoys splashing all of the water out of the tub onto me. :)
~No matter what the weather is like, he would do anything to play outside.
~He is not shy at all! He loves to play with other kids of any age and has always got to say hi to everyone as they pass by.
Some of my favorite words/phrases that he says are:
"Mom/Dad, What you doing?"
"Bubbles"
"Cool"
"Oh boy"
"You too" (He whispers this back when we tell him we love him.)
"Eye, Nose, You!" (That is I love you, when he signs it.)
"Max/Stella"
"Please/Thank you"
"Broken"
"Oh no! What do?"
"I want it"

The week of Cooper's birthday we went to Grand Junction, CO to spend time with
Lathan at work. We stayed in a nice hotel and had the best hotel breakfasts every morning & also went swimming everyday while we waited for
Lathan to get back from work.
Lathan spoiled us and took us to some new fun places for dinner, we went to build-a-bear and also found the best & largest park I have ever been too. We also took Cooper to a place called Banana's for his birthday. They had a big arcade area, go carts, water bumper boats, and Coopers favorite-the bouncy houses & slides! (We had so much fun we didn't find time to take pictures.)
The Saturday we got home we had a nice family birthday party for Cooper. He was very spoiled! Here he is opening his presents at his party:

Cooper got a tricycle & tee ball set from us.

He LOVED opening the presents that were wrapped in "Cars" wrapping paper, especially the ones that had Cars in them.

One of the first few presents that Cooper opened was a set of tools. He loved them, the funniest thing was...that when he
couldn't get the rest of his presents open he would start hammering or drilling them open with his tools! :)

He had to have his Dad get every toy all the way out of the box after he had unwrapped each one of them. He
couldn't move on to the next present until he did.

Cooper would get
SOO excited over every present. He would
clench up his fists and shake with excitement while he giggled about it all!

After he finished opening all of his presents he got to make a wish on his birthday cake.
He had a momentary flash back to his 1st birthday party and wanted to dig right in!
Here are some pictures of his Birthday guests:
Talisa & Brady

Grandma Anderson & Lacy (Cooper calls her "
Yacey")
Teilani, Clayton &
Destry
Mom, Lacy, Peyton, Grandpa Allen & Jill

Grandma & Grandpa Howard
(Cooper was lucky enough to have a Grandpa & Grandma from almost every side of the family at his party. Including 6 great grandparents & 4 grandparents)

Grandma & Grandpa Thompson, Rod, Tammy, Dianne & Dave

After everyone left we let Cooper take his shirt off and dive into one of his cup cakes just like he wanted to!
Happy Birthday Coop! We love you!!
Thanks to everyone who came, he had a wonderful birthday!
