Every year I look forward to my Aunt Lani & Uncle Rodger's annual Halloween party. Here is a picture of a bunch of my cousin's kids all dressed up:
I had been looking forward to Cooper being a pumpkin for Halloween for quite some time...thanks to his awesome orange/red hair. I figured this might be the last year that he would "let" me choose for him what I wanted him to be so I took advantage of it.
Here is Cooper waiting his turn in line to "fish" for his treat.

He "caught" 2 books!

He "caught" 2 books!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to take Cooper trick or treating this year. I woke up with the flu Halloween morning and graciously my Mom took Cooper for me over the next few days to avoid him catching my sickness. This was my first time EVER being away from Cooper overnight. SUCKED being lonely. But it was nice to not have the stress of taking care of someone while I was sick, or worrying that he would get sick. But to top every mom's sadness for leaving their kid for a few days unplanned, he came home calling MY mom, "mom"! And he didn't want her to leave him with me...he cried and cried. To look on the bright side of things, he must of had a great time to not want to come back home and I knew that he was well taken care of!
My mom said Cooper had more fun anyways helping her hand out candy to all of the dressed up trick or treaters. At the beginning of the Halloween season Cooper wasn't to fond of all of the scary decorations and dress ups...he would say "Ohhh noo!" But by the time Halloween came he had warmed up to the idea and he even came home saying "trick or treat!"
